Chennai Super Kings Grabs the IPL-3

After a Long tournament for nearly 45 days, Chennai Super Kings Lifted the Cup and proved themselves as a Champion in the final match held on April 25, 2010. Fans are celebrating as their team got a glorious victory in the thrilling finals. Chennai Super Kings were runners in Season 1. They were unable to reach finals in Season 2. This time they did it, obviously teams will be split up in the next season as players are put up on a three-year agreement.

Suresh Raina's unbeaten 57 helped team backing up a decent and competitive score. Chennai Super Kings scored 168 in the first batting(toss winners).

Captain's knock of 48 by Master Batsman, Sachin Tendulkar ends up in vain as the remaining unable to hold the grease and score until end. Mumbai Indians ends up 146 at the end of 20 overs with a wicket in hand.

Awards: Best Batsman and Best captain award goes to Sachin Tendulkar and Best Bowler award to new comer Pragyan Ohja. Jacques Kallis catches the award for his consistent performance. Ms Dhoni received the Winning Cup from the hands of Lalit Modi.
